A Prayer for the end of term
Loving God,
Thank You for the learning and friendships of this term.
Bless our teachers, families and classmates for all they have shared with us.
Give us rest, joy and safety in the days ahead.
Help us return refreshed, ready to grow in wisdom and kindness.
Amen.
A Note from our Principal
Ngata families,
Tomorrow will be an exciting day as we welcome some special guests to our school. Senator Raff Ciccone will be joining us to view the Middle Pod renovations, made possible through a $1 million grant from the Federal Government. We are very grateful for this generous support, which has given our students a modern, bright and flexible learning space. We also welcome Mr Tom Sexton, who will meet with Senator Ciccone and see both the Middle Pod and Hands on Learning shed upgrades. The Hands on Learning project was supported by DOBCEL. It will be a wonderful opportunity to showcase the ways these projects are enriching our students’ learning and wellbeing.
This week we also celebrate the success of the Year 5/6 Camp at Roses Gap. Our students had a fantastic time taking part in activities such as the giant swing, flying fox, crate stack, canoeing, low ropes, bush walk and archery. The weather was kind to us, allowing all activities to go ahead. We are so proud of the way our students embraced each challenge with enthusiasm, teamwork and courage.
Don’t forget tomorrow is footy colours day to celebrate the end of term and the upcoming AFL finals!
I hope students enjoy a restful holiday break.
Kind regards,
Nick Murrell
Principal

School Fees
Dear Families,
As we approach the end of 3rd term it has been noted that there are still a large amount of school fees that haven't been paid or had a payment plan set up. Just a reminder that it is an expectation that all fees will be paid in full by the end of the year unless a payment plan is set up and ongoing. Please call Bec Lawlor if you have any questions or have any concerns over being able to meet your financial obligations. Bec is more than happy to help with different options that will work for your families needs.

Term 3 Wrap Up!
We have had a very busy term that’s been full of fun, friendship, learning and a little bit of sickness. We are so proud of all the efforts from all the children and how they have been able to grow and flourish both as friends and learners. We asked the children what their favourite thing from this term has been and this is what they said:
Theodore - Learning my letters and sounds.
Charlotte - Learning how to spell words with 5 sounds.
Irine - I have loved making more friends like Maria, Remie, Joanne and Olivia.
Ezra - I have loved DT and learning how to do writing on the computer.
Joy - I have loved playing on the monkey bars.
George R - I loved building my house with my mum. We used cardboard and paint.
Ellie - I loved the Pastoral Care Day where we could dress up and express ourselves.
Ollie - I have loved playing on the playground with Tommy, George R, Karvie, Oliver and George W.
Eadie - I loved celebrating 100 Days Brighter.
Tommy - I loved learning about materials and building my house for the Three Little Pigs.

Learning at home
We know that all the Foundation children and their families work hard at home with the daily reading tasks. Over the holidays and into Term 4 we would love for everyone to practice reading and writing the little lists of words that are in the back of their green reading book. We have added some new words for the holidays and we know that some children will be able to read them easily but now we would like to put out a challenge of writing and spelling the words. Happy reading!!

Happy Holidays!
We hope that everyone has a restful and relaxing break over the next couple of weeks. Even though it has been a shorter term it has been a busy one and we are all looking forward to taking a break and recharging the batteries before a big Term 4 where we will be getting ready for Grade 1 and making the big move into our new classrooms. Mrs Walsh and Ms Osborne will be back in Week 1 of next term while Ms Lane is having an extra long break and we will see her again in Week 2.
Happy Holidays Everyone!

2026 Enrolments
Do you know someone looking for a great school in 2026? Word of mouth is the best way to let people know about our wonderful school. Please encourage anyone who might be interested to contact the school for a private tour.

REMINDER: Parent/Guardian/Carers Code of Conduct to be signed ASAP
As a DOBCEL school, we are required to have all Parents/Guardians/Carers sign a Code of Conduct as part of the Enrolment Agreement. This Code of Conduct is a guide to the expected conduct and behaviour of all Parents/Guardians/Carers while in all school environments, engaging in school-related activities or representing the school. This document has been written in the context of new enrolments, but is to be utilised for all current enrolments as well.
A copy of this document was sent out electronically through PAM to all Parents/Guardians/Carers. Please take the time to read and acknowledge your acceptance of the terms and conditions listed.
Thank you to those who have already signed their Codes of Conduct. It is an important part of our school's Compliance regulations that this document is read and signed by all Parents/Carers. It would be appreciated if this could be attended to as soon as possible. Please contact the office if you are unable to access the document in PAM. Thank you for your assistance.
